Beginning in the wee hours of the morning on December 18, Elon Musk began sending tweets that would slam the budgetary continuing resolution to a stop.
Musk is an unelected, unelectable co-commander-in-chief. If Trump was really the strong man that he portends, he would kick Musk to the curb. After all, he served his purpose - funding his campaign. In fact, Musk should be stripped of al his government contracts, he came here illegally, he is probably a double-agent at least with Russia (if not others), and he has no fidelity to this nation. Trump needs to kick him to the curb otherwise he is being outshone by the native prince of South Africa. Our men and women who serve this country deserve better than this, and our nation cannot be weakened any further, especially in light of an impending transition. The Republican party has long shed the mantle of fiscal responsibility for the mantle of ineptitude and irresponsibility. Enough is enough.
Very eloquently said. And I agree that Musk is already starting to outshine Trump. If it were anyone else they would already be fired. Something isn't right.
“Dear Donald Trump, your malfeasance is no longer shocking, but it remains deeply revolting. You campaigned as a champion of the forgotten man, but your actions scream betrayal. You’re not a leader; you’re a masquerading fraud, content to bask in the reflected glow of Elon Musk’s wealth and influence while abandoning the very people who believed in you.”

ELON MUSK’S PUPPET PRESIDENT: HOW TRUMP BECAME A BILLIONAIRE’S MARIONETTE AT AMERICA’S EXPENSE
When a ruthless tech mogul pulls the strings and a so-called populist bows down, America spirals into chaos—leaving red-state voters to pay the price.
I'm hoping that Trump will get enough of Elon's stealing the limelight and fire him. However, it's only a slim hope and probably won't happen. I fear that we're in for an extremely bumpy ride for the next four years. We need to buckle in and hold on.
Aren’t millionaires already running our government?? It’s not like we (meaning the people we the people elected) have any control over the economy, supply chain, or banking systems.
You're right. I think it's a matter of degree though. The Citizens United decision opened the doors for heavy corporate influence. However until now no major CEO held the reins of power as firmly as does Elon Musk. Technically he can be fired if he crosses Trump. I'm just not really sure who's in charge and how much power they hold.
