The Big Ugly Bill - Please Call Your Senators

There's a brief pause in the embarrassment posing as a reconciliation bill. It won't last long, so please take the time to call your Senators.

A short reminder.

I just called the two Texas Senators, John Cornyn and Ted Cruz and implored them to vote "no" on the Big Ugly Bill. I'm sure they won't listen to a lone voice but if enough of us call in they at least are forced to take note of the number, and then decide whether to side with Donald Trump or face millions of angry constituents at the ballot box in November of 2026.

Your voice matters. Please call your Senators, even if you live in a red state. Mitch McConnell advised his colleagues to ignore their constituents and pass the Big Ugly Bill. He said we'd get over it. Let's prove him wrong.

There's been a brief respite in that a provision related to Medicare provider taxes violates Senate rules. That, however, is only a momentary setback for Republican leadership.
